Before moving forward, before thinking, planning, or acting, we begin by bringing the breath back to its natural balance.
At WAC Central Station, the morning breathing practice is designed to gently connect the night and the day, allowing the body and mind to move forward together.
The Thank You 3-6-9 Breathing Method is based on three simple rhythms:
3 seconds to breathe in, sending a calm signal of awakening to the body.
6 seconds to breathe out, releasing tension, effort, and unnecessary holding.
9 seconds of quiet stillness, where the breath settles and the mind and body become one.
This is not a technique to control the body, nor a method to push yourself to perform.
It is a gentle practice to return to your own center and begin the day in a steady, grounded state.
